Raphael "Ralph" Dennis, 87, of Palm Coast took his last breath on Wednesday, March 13, 2013 in his home with his loving wife at his side. He was born September 22, 1925 in Manchester, Jamaica.
He migrated to New York in the 50's and later moved to Florida in 1992. He worked for Coca-Cola Company as a Supervisor for 25 years before retirement. He took pleasure in gardening and distributing citrus to neighbors and friends. He was a Past Master of Progressive Lodge #64 in New York.
Ralph was a faithful member of Calvary Christian Center in Ormond Beach, FL, where he served alongside his wife, Madgerine, as an usher for several years and in the SHINE Outreach Ministry. All who met him characterized him as being a gentleman, a humble servant, and caring person.
A devoted friend and family man, he leaves his memories to his wife, Madgerine; son Denzel Dennis (daughter in-law); daughters, Delores Dennis, Monique & Sedera Douglas; stepson, Barrington Hull (Patricia); a brother, Oscar Dennis (Theresa); three sisters, Hortense Rankin, Rosa Doig, and Gwen Clark (Norman); 12 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; three step -grandchildren; 3 step-great-grandchildren; a host of nieces; nephews; cousins; his church family; neighbors and friends.
His life celebration will be held Thursday, March 21st at 11am at Craig Flagler Palms Funeral Home, 511 Old Kings Road S., Flagler Beach 32136. Doors will be open for viewing from 10 am to 11 am. Burial will follow service at the Memorial Gardens on the premises.
