PALM COAST -- Charles Henry Dietz, 83, of Armand Beach Drive, a superintendent for a General Electric gas turbine plant, died Saturday at Memorial Hospital-Flagler, Bunnell. 

Mr. Dietz was born in Perth Amboy, N.J., and came here 23 years ago from Schoharie, N.Y. He was a member of Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. 

Survivors include his wife, Virginia; a son, Jerry, Idaho Falls, Idaho; seven daughters, Carolyn Whitmer, Flagler Beach, Dale Herodes, Middleburg, N.Y., Dorothy Norton, Rotterdam, N.Y., Carol Dutcher, Schoharie, Holly Gardner, Salt Lake City, Utah, Ashley Garry, Beaumont, Texas, and Virginia Shirk, Palm Coast; a sister, Dorothy Molesky, Allentown, Pa.; 28 grandchildren; and 16 great-grandchildren.
