FLAGLER BEACH -- William Thomas Dignan, 95, of South Oceanshore Boulevard, a resident since 1972, died Monday at home. 

Mr. Dignan, an Army veteran of World War II who served with the combat engineers, was born in Chicago. A retired home construction salesman, he moved here from Norwood Park, Ill. He was a member of Santa Maria del Mar Catholic Church, the Palm Coast Lions Club and Flagler Beach Senior Center. He enjoyed golfing. 

Survivors include a sister, Margaret Grant, Springfield, Ill.
