PALM COAST - Alfred E. Diorio, 84, of' Owl's Roost Lane East, who owned and operated a jewelry store for 20 years in St, Thomas, Virgin Islands, died Friday at Florida Hospital-Flagler.

Mr. Diorio, an Army veteran of World War II, was born in Manhattan, N.Y., and moved here in January from Rehoboth, Del. He enjoyed travel.

Survivors include a daughter, Marguerite McMullan, North Brunswick, N.J., and a niece, Jacquelyn Ryan, Palm Coast, who provided for his care.
