A Funeral Mass celebrating the life of Leonard E. Dobis 87 of Palm Coast will be held on Monday, July 18, 2016 at 10:00 AM in St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church, 4600 Belle Terre Parkway, Palm Coast. Entombment will follow in Flagler Palms Memorial Gardens.
The family will receive friends on Sunday, July 17, 2016 from 3:00 to 6:00 PM in the chapel of Craig-Flagler Palms Funeral Home, 511 Old Kings Road S. Flagler Beach.
Mr. Dobis, a resident of Palm Coast for the past 32 years coming from Allen Park NJ passed away on Monday, July 11, 2016. He was born on September 7, 1928 in Detroit Michigan a son of the late John and Helen Szostek Dobis.
A veteran serving in the US Army during the Korean Conflict, Mr. Dobis was retired manager for the Ford Motor Company. He was a member of St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church, an active member of Italian-American Club, a 3rd Degree Knight of Columbus, the Past Exalted Ruler of the Elks Lodge of Palm Coast and a member of the VFW.
A True Gentleman, Lenny enjoyed cruising, dancing, karaoke and was the Master of Ceremony. Preceding him in death was his wife Margueritte and a daughter Michelle.
Surviving are his son, Brian Dobis and his wife Irena of Palm Coast, two granddaughters, Erika and Sabrina and two Brothers, Raymond Dobis of Pinkney MI and Richard Dobis of Walled Lake MI. Contributions are suggested to the American Cancer Society.
Arrangements are in the care and trust of Craig-Flagler Palms Funeral Home.
