A Funeral Mass celebrating the life of William A. Dolson, 80, of Ormond Beach, who passed away on Wednesday, November 11, 2009 at his residence, will be held on Friday, November 13, 2009 at 10:30 am at the Santa Maria del Mar Catholic Church, 915 N. Central Ave, Flagler Beach. His family will receive friends on Friday, November 13, 2009 from 9:00 am until 10:00 am at the Craig-Flagler Palms Funeral Home, 511 Old Kings Rd. S., Flagler Beach. Burial will follow the Mass at Flagler Palms Memorial Gardens, Flagler Beach.

William was born on December 4, 1928 in Beacon, NY to the late William and Grace Ten Eyck Dolson. He worked as an Electronics Technician for Texaco Research Inc., retiring in 1987. William was a member of the Santa Maria del Mar Catholic Church, and was a Volunteer for the Slater Chemical Fire Department. He enjoyed baseball, woodworking, cabinetry, and he was an avid golfer.

Preceding him in death were his son William A. Dolson in October 2006, his sister Mary Wyant, his brother Paul Dolson, and his sister Shirley Rehbeck.

He is survived by his loving wife of 59 years, Margaret Dolson of Ormond Beach. Additional survivors include his son Robert J. Dolson of Port St. Lucie, FL; his son Paul T. Dolson and his wife Polly of Alexandria, VA; his 4 grandchildren, Erik Dolson and his wife Hollie, Tyler Dolson, Jesse Dolson and Kelly Dolson; his 2 great-grandchildren, Skyler and Hunter Dolson; his nephew Jeff Dolson; his nephew David Wyant and his wife Diane; his niece Nancy Trost; his great-nephew Max Wyant; his sister-in-law Gloria Dolson, and his brother-in-law Ed Rehbeck.

Memorial donations may be made in memory of William to the Hospice of Volusia/Flagler, 3800 Woodbriar Trail, Port Orange, FL 32119. Arrangements are in the care and trust of Craig-Flagler Palms Funeral Home.
