John E. Doyle, 64, of Palm Coast, died Thursday, February 14, 2013 at the Stuart F. Meyer Hospice House. Mr. Doyle was born August 1, 1948 in Fall River, Mass., a son of John, Sr., and Daisy Doster Doyle.

He was a 1966 graduate of Southwest High School in Miami. He attended Miami-Dade College then enlisted in the United States Army and was stationed in Germany. Following his discharge, he attended the Northern Virginia Community College. He worked for the Department of Defense as a police officer, and then was transferred to Ft. Lauderdale.

John was an artist, and he and his wife moved to Palm Coast in 2007 and worked in the antique business.

He is survived by his devoted wife of 32 years, the former Shelley Newmark whom he married May 13, 1980; his mother Daisy Doyle of South Carolina, and one brother, David Doyle of California.

Family and friends will be received Tuesday, February 19, 2013 from 10:00 am to 11:00 am at the Craig-Flagler Palms Funeral Home, 511 Old Kings Road South in Flagler Beach. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am with Pastor David Doyle officiating. Interment will follow at the Flagler Palms Memorial Gardens.

There will be a memorial service celebrating Johns life, Tuesday, February 19, 2013 at the Calvary Chapel in Flagler Beach at 6:00 PM.
