Rosel Anna Dressler, Palm Coast, died Feb. 18, 2006, in Ann Arbor, Mich., after a prolonged illness.
Born Sept. 19, 1936, she was the daughter of Josef and Maria Zimlich from Aschaffenburg, Germany.
She is survived by her son, Gregory; his wife, Dervla Mellerick-Dressler; and her grandchildren, Nicole and Kiera Dressler, all of Ann Arbor. She is also survived by her brother, Ernst, and his wife, Heidrun Zimlich, Aschaffenburg.
She was the loving wife of the late Fred Dressler of Palm Coast and the mother of the late Michael Dressler of Ardesley, Pa.
Rosel was a kind and gentle person who found great joy in the small things in life. She loved to walk the beach, spend time with her family and friends, and travel to new places. Her brave battle against cancer was an inspiration to all who knew and loved her.
The family would like to extend our thanks to all her friends in Palm Coast who cared and comforted her during this time. We are also indebted to the Oncology Staff at Halifax Medical Center and the Ormond Outpatient Clinic. She was still young in body and spirit and will be missed greatly.
Services will be held Friday, February 24, at 12 noon at Craig-Flagler Palms Funeral Home, Flagler Beach, followed by a reception at the Palm Coast Yacht Club.
