Arthur W. Durrance; 76 passed away in Halifax Hospital in Daytona Beach Wednesday morning at 6:45 after an illness of several weeks.

Funeral services will be held at 2 o'clock Friday afternoon from the First Baptist Church. Burial will be at Hope Cemetery. Mr. Durrance was born in San Mateo, Putnam County, January 5, 1878, but had lived virtually all his life here where he was engaged in farming and in the cattle business.

Surviving are his widow, Mrs. Rosa Durrance; four sons, George W., Everett E. and Carl Hiram of Bunnell, and Guy A. of New Smyrna Beach; five daughters, Mrs. Elsie Moran, Mrs. Pearl Woods, Mrs. Frances Baumgardner, Mrs. Elizabeth Dawson, of Bunnell, and Mrs. Bessie Brooks of Ft. Myers; two sisters, Mrs. Eva Allen and Mrs. Dora Ashley of Daytona Beach; three brothers, John E. and Omega of Bunnell, and H. W. of Miami.

Also surviving are thirteen grandchildren and five great­grandchildren.

Garcia Funeral Home of St. Augustine is in charge of arrangements.
