Thomas Omega Durrance, a pioneer resident of Flagler County, died Monday morning at the Bunnell General Hospital. He was a lifelong resident of Flagler County and resided on East Moody Boulevard, Bunnell. He was 70 years of age.

Mr. Durrance was engaged in the cattle and farming business. He was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints.

Survivors include his wife, Irene Durrance of Bunnell; 2 daughters, Norma Keith Turner of Bunnell and Mrs. Johnnie Helms of Tallahassee; 4 sons, Nathan Durrance and Tommy Durrance of Flagler Beach; James Durrance and Horace Durrance of Bunnell; 2 sisters, Mrs. Dora Ashley and. Mrs. Eva Allen, both of Daytona Beach; 2 brothers, John Durrance of Artesia Park, and Worrell Durrance of Flagler Beach. Also surviving are ten grand children and seven great-grandchildren.

Graveside service was held at two o'clock Wednesday afternoon at Hope Cemetery, Pallbearers were Steve Sparkman, Hiram Durrance, Barry Quigley, Bordon Winn, Buck Durrance, and Miller Tilton.

Funeral arrangements were under the direction of Craig Funeral Home of Bunnell.
