Funeral services were held at the graveside of Hope Cemetery Wednesday for Mrs. Bessie Dwyer, aunt of H. M. Benson and Helen Marsh of Bunnell. Rev. Robert Carr, pastor of the local Methodist Church conducted the service with Baggett-McIntosh in charge of arrangements.
Mrs. Dwyer died sometime Friday night at her home, 910 Oleander, in Holly Hill, of heart failure. She was 66.
Neighbors told Coroner J. C. Beard of Daytona Beach that they found the woman dead in her house about 3 P.M. Saturday. They said that they had taken her to town Friday night for a meal, and then brought her back home. Saturday, noting no movement around the house, they went to investigate and found the body.
She was born January 29, 1884 at Lincoln, Michigan, and had been in ill health.
Surviving beside relatives here is another nephew, Harry Benson, Tampa; three brothers, A. E. Elliott, Parma, Mich.; Joseph H. Elliott, Niles, Mich. and Charles W. Elliott, Boone, Iowa.
Pallbearers were Ralph Harbert, Frank Mercer, Wallace Weeks, E. Z. Chaffee, Raymond Smith and M. H. Parker.
