Howard Ricardo Dyer, 34, Hartford, CT and Palm Coast, FL, beloved son of Carol and Howard Lightbody and loving husband of Camille Rose-Dyer passed away suddenly on November 14, 2009. Howard was born on December 20, 1974 in Port Antonio, Jamaica.

In 1983, Howard moved to Connecticut with his parents. While there, he attended Clark Elementary School, where a special teacher, Mrs. Mayo was instrumental in his early education.

He was a 1994 graduate of Kingswood-Oxford High School and continued his education with a Bachelors in Finance from the University of Connecticut. After graduating from UCONN, Howard joined Lincoln Financial where he worked for several years in their Hartford Office until relocating with the company to Huntington Beach, California in 1999.

He continued to work for Lincoln Financial until moving to Palm Coast with his wife in 2003. At the time of his death, Howard was employed as a Regional Life Specialist for Lincoln Financial Distributors covering the Georgia and Florida regions.

He is survived by his devoted wife, Camille Rose-Dyer; his cherished parents, Carol and Howard; brother, Bryan; sister, Marcella; and parents-in-law, Norma and Leslie Rose.

He will also be missed by his aunts, uncles, cousins, in-laws, nieces, nephews, and many other wonderful relatives and friends. To know him, was to love him. He was an inspiration to many and was always with a gentle spirit and a helping hand.

Friends and family will gather to celebrate Howard's life on Saturday, November 21, 2009 at 11 a.m. with viewing hours from 10-11 a.m. at Palm Coast United Methodist Church, 5200 Belle Terre Parkway, Palm Coast, FL 32137.

Howard was a childhood survivor of cancer and made regular contributions to the American Cancer Society.
