Memorial Mass for Bonnie L. Emerson, 68, Clee Court, Palm Coast, who passed away Monday, Aug. 22, 2005, at St. Luke's Hospital, Jacksonville, will be held 10:30 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 27, at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church, 4600 Belle Terre Pkwy., Palm Coast.

Her family will receive friends from 2 p.m. until 3 p.m. Friday, Aug. 26, at Craig-Flagler Palms Funeral Home, 511 Old Kings Rd. South, Flagler Beach.

Bonnie was born Oct. 20, 1936, in Gary, Ind., to Lawrence and Mary (Bryson) Hoppes (now deceased). She was a homemaker and she dedicated much of her time volunteering for various cancer support groups. Bonnie enjoyed painting, traveling, golfing, and playing bridge. She moved to this area in 1992 from San Francisco, Calif.

Bonnie is survived by her loving husband of 50 years, Warren (Buzz) Emerson, Palm Coast. Additional survivors include her two sons, Scott Emerson, San Francisco, and Eric Emerson and his wife Vera, Jakarta, Indonesia; her grandson, Brendyn Emerson, Jakarta; and her sister-in-law, Dede Emerson, Ossinni, N.Y.

Donations may be made in memory of Bonnie to the National Ovarian Cancer Coalition, 500 NE Spanish River Blvd., Suite 8, Boca Raton, FL 33431.

Arrangements are in the care of Craig-Flagler Palms Funeral Home.
