PALM COAST - Joseph Anthony Farawell, 69, of Eagle Crest Path, a traffic manager for the Dow Chemical Co., Midland, Mich., before his retirement, died Sunday at home.

Mr. Farawell, an Army veteran, was born in Jersey City, N.J., and moved here in 1996 from Medford, N.J. He was a member of Santa Maria del Mar Catholic Church, Flagler Beach, and the Palm Coast Golf Resort. An avid reader, he enjoyed watching television sports.

Survivors include his wife of 44 years, Margurita; three sons, Joseph, Palm Coast, Michael, Streamwood, ill., and William, Glendale Heights, Ill.; five daughter, Margaret Bartlett, Longwood, Barbara Gallagher, Garfield, N.J., Laura McKenzie, Naperville, Ill., Bernadette Such, Elburn, Ill., and Erin Workman, Eldersburg, Md.; three brothers, Charles, Pompton Plains, N.J., Richard, Ocean Gate, N.J., and John, Colonia, N.J.; a sister, Kathryn Kelly, Cornwall-on-the-Hudson, N.Y.; and eight grandchildren.
