Fernando R. Faria, 82 of Palm Coast, FL, passed away peacefully on Monday, May 9, 2016. Fernando was born in Figueira da Foz, Portugal on December 11, 1933. Fernando was a Quality Control Inspector for General Motors.

He moved to Palm Coast from Union, NJ in 1997. He was an avid soccer fan and played soccer in Portugal. Fernando was a member of The Portuguese-American Club and Palm Coast Praise Church. Fernando was preceded in death by his wife Rosa Faria in 2006.

He is survived by his daughter, Celia (Jeffery) Whitefield of Palm Coast; Paul (Mariann) Faria of Union, NJ; Sister Alice Vasco and many more family members in Portugal; grandchildren, Sofia and Brianna Whitefield and John Isello.

Family and friends will be received Sunday, May 22, 2016 from 6:00-8:00 PM at Craig-Flagler Palms Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held Monday, May 23, 2016 at 5:00 PM at Palm Coast Praise Church, 3601 E. Moody Blvd Bunnell, FL. 32110.

Memorial donations in his memory may be made to Haven Hospice, 608 W. Moody Blvd, Bunnell FL 32110.
