Tuesday, May 11, 2010Graveside services for Stanley R. Ferguson 83 of Palm Coast will be held on Friday, May 14, 2010 at 2:00 p.m. in Flagler Palms Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends on Friday from 12:00 p.m. (Noon) until 2:00 p.m. in the chapel of Craig-Flagler Palms Funeral Home, 511 Old Kings Road S. Flagler Beach.
Mr. Ferguson, a resident of Palm Coast since 1997 coming from Miami FL., passed away on Monday May 10, 2010 in the Stuart F. Meyer Hospice House. He was born in Richmond VA, October 13, 1926 a son of the late James Ernest and Hazel Gertrude Greenwood Ferguson. Mr. Ferguson was a retired engineer for Westinghouse Elevators. He was a graduate of the University of Miami, enjoyed watching all sports on television and loved to spend time with his grandchildren.
Preceding him in death was his wife of 51 years Emma in November 2009. Surviving are two daughters, Janet Allen and her husband Jim of Palm Coast, Leslie Cedola and her husband Skip of Tampa FL, four grandchildren, Michelle, Jenna, Amanda and Matthew and one brother, Russell Ferguson and his wife Chris of Miami FL.
The family suggests contributions to the American Diabetes Association in memory of Mr. Ferguson.
Arrangements are in the care and trust of Craig-Flagler Palms Funeral Home.
