Caroline "Carey/Tiff" Fick
Caroline “Carey/Tiff” Fick, 70, went home to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on May 24, 2012 with her husband Don by her side. They were married for 52 years.
Born in Cleveland OH to the late Joseph and Jean Hegedus and was a graduate of Parma High School. She loved to bake, cook Holiday meals, cross-stitch, sew, play bingo, travel and go on vacations to Myrtle Beach. She also made custom drapes for a number of years called “Tiffs Draperies”. She was a Florida Master Gardener and worked for the University of Florida Cooperative Extension Service.
Carey was preceded in death by her son, William, sister, Joann, brother Joe and her parents Joe and Jean Hegedus.
Left to cherish her memory are her husband Don of Palm Coast, son Robert of Colorado, along with a brother Mike and sister Amy in Ohio.
She was the greatest wife, mother, companion and friend a person could ask for. She will be remembered by her family and friends as a fun loving person to be around. Her family will receive friends on Tuesday, May 29 from 4:00 until 8:00 PM in the chapel of Craig-Flagler Palms Funeral Home, 511 Old Kings Road South, Flagler Beach.
A prayer service will be held at 6:30 PM. A Funeral Mass celebrating her life will be held on Wednesday, May 30 at 10:30 AM in St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church, 4600 Belle Terre Parkway, Palm Coast. The family will also receive friends on Wednesday from 9:30 AM until the time of mass. Burial will follow in Flagler Palms Memorial Gardens.
Memorial contributions are suggested to St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church in memory of Mrs. Fick.
