FLAGLER BEACH - Charles Fischett, 89, of Cumberland Drive, who retired as the owner of the National Fabricating Co., Copiague, N.Y., died Saturday at Florida Hospital-Ormond Memorial. 

Mr. Fischett was born in Queens, N.Y., and moved to this area in 1997 from Fort Lauderdale. He also retired as the owner and captain of a charter fishing boat. He was a member of the National Party Boat Association. 

Survivors include two daughters, Matilda Maddox, Flagler Beach, and Jo-Ann Germano, East Islip, N.Y.; six grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.
