Graveside services for Dodie Flynt-Johnston, 80, of Flagler Beach, will be held on Monday, Feb. 23 at 11:00 a.m. in Flagler Palms Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends on Sunday from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. in the chapel of Craig-Flagler Palms Funeral Home, 511 Old Kings Road S., Flagler Beach.

Mrs. Flynt-Johnston, a resident of Flagler Beach since 1973 coming from Millersville, MD, passed away on Thursday, February 19, 2009 at Florida Hospital Flagler, Palm Coast, FL. She was born on August 2, 1928 in Baltimore, MD, a daughter of the late Salvatore and Anna Feuerhardt Saia. She enjoyed traveling, doing puzzles and her dog, JoJo.

Surviving are her husband of 13 years, Danny Johnston; one daughter, Angie New of Bunnell; one son, Jimmy Flynt of Bunnell; three step-sons, Ray Johnston and Chip Johnston, both of Bunnell, and Jeff Johnston of Flagler Beach; three grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

The family suggests contributions to the Stuart F. Meyer Hospice House, 160 Memorial Parkway, Palm Coast, FL 32164.

Arrangements are in the care and trust of Craig-Flagler Palms Funeral Home.
