James Michael Foley



On Saturday, September 26th, 2020 James M Foley, loving husband, father and grandfather passed away peacefully at the age of 79.

Jim was born on January 27, 1941 in Newburyport Massachusetts to John and Teresa Foley. He was a graduate of Newburyport High School and Wentworth Institute of Technology in Boston Massachusetts. Jim honorably served his country for six years in the Army National Guard 101st Engineering Battalion in Newburyport, Massachusetts.

On August 22, 1965 he married his high school sweetheart Sandra Rae Bamford. Jim and Sandy were married 55 years and they raised two sons, Michael and Shawn. Jim was a licensed builder who owned and operated well respected construction companies the majority of his career in both Newburyport, Massachusetts and Palm Coast, Florida.

He was a loving husband and father who devoted his life to his family. He is survived by his wife Sandy, his two sons Michael and Shawn, his two grandchildren Joel and Jared and extended family. Funeral services to honor his quiet, hardworking and family oriented life will consist of a small, private graveside service in the upcoming weeks.
