PALM COAST - Edgar Lloyd Forbes, 70, of Wendy Lane, a retired research analyst for the New York Depository Trust Co., died Sunday at Florida Hospital Flagler.

Mr. Forbes was born in Jamaica and moved to this area in 2001 from the Bronx, N.Y. He was a member of Palm Coast United Methodist Church and the United Caribbean Cultural Association.

He enjoyed gardening and playing dominos.

Survivors include his wife of 33 years, Verona; a son, Phillip, Maryland; a daughter, Natasha Forbes, Atlanta; three brothers, Henry, Palm City, Claude, Queens, N.Y., and Granville, Jamaica; and three sisters, Beryl Forbes, Ocala, Tatlyn Wilson, Washington, D.C., and Evelyn Forbes, Jamaica.

Memorial donations may be made to Palm Coast United Methodist Church, 5200 Belle Terre Parkway, Palm Coast, FL 32137, or to the United Caribbean Cultural Association, P.O. Box 350383, Palm Coast, FL 32135.

Funeral service for Edgar Lloyd Forbes, 70, Palm Coast, will be 11 a.m Saturday, July 29, 2006, at Palm Coast United Methodist Church, 5200 Belle Terre Pkwy., Palm Coast. Burial will follow in Flagler Palms Memorial Gardens. Family will receive friends today (Friday, July 28) from 4 p.m. until 7 p.m. in the chapel of Craig-Flagler Palms Funeral Home, 511 Old Kings Road S., Flagler Beach, and at the church Saturday from 10 a.m. until the time of services at the church.
