Richard  Foster  89,  of  Palm  Coast  passed  away  on  Thursday,  February  25,  2010  at  his  home.  He  was  born  on  July  26,  1920  in  Harrisburg,  PA  to  the  late  Cassel  M. and  Helen  Chase  Foster.

As  a  young  man  he  served  as  a  merchant  marine  during  WWII.  In  1988  he  moved  to  the  Palm  Coast  area  from  California.

He  was  preceded  in  death  by  his  wife  Elizabeth  in  2003;  son,  Mark  Foster;  sister,  Jane  Card.

Survivors include his son, Richard Foster II of Bayville, NJ.  sister,  Hope  Reed  of  World  Golf  Village,  FL;  grandchildren,  Rebekka  Trevor,  Nikkole  11  Vento,  Karrie  Foster,  Richard  K.  Foster and Erick Depko and 5 great-grandchildren.

Arrangements  are  under  the  care  and  trust  of  Craig  Flagler  Palms  Funeral  Home.
