Dennis Alexander Francis



A memorial service for Dennis Alexander Francis 77, of Palm Coast will be held on Friday, June 8, 2012, 12:00PM at Palm Coast United Methodist Church. Dennis passed away on June 1, 2012 at his home. He was born on March 2, 1935 in Jamaica West Indies to the late Unis and Hilda Maude Francis (Perkins).

He and his wife moved to the Palm Coast area in 2001 from Columbia, Maryland. His memberships included Palm Coast United Methodist Church. Dennis enjoyed Fishing, playing dominoes, gardening, traveling and swimming but his greatest enjoyment in life was spending time with his beloved family. He will be greatly missed.

Dennis was preceded in death by step-son Eric Hayes in 1987.

Survivors include his loving wife of 43 years Velma; children, Margaret and her husband Andy Williams of Laurel, Maryland, Audrey and her husband Colin Watt of Queens Village, NY, Claudette and her husband Trevor Rodriguez of St. Thomas Virgin Islands,Christopher and his wife Kerri Francis of Jacksonville, FL, sisters, Mavis Chin of Jamaica New York, Daphne Dawes of England; brothers, Enos Francis of Jamaica West Indies, James Francis of Bronx, NY, Keith  Francis of Jamaica West Indies; seven grandchildren, Eric Francis, Jeanette Rodriguez, Jamar Rodriguez, Leon Blake, Germaine Blake, Bryan Francis and Jasmine Francis; 6 great-grandchildren.
