Joseph Galambos, 75, died Saturday in Sunnyside Convalescent Home in St. Augustine after a lengthy illness.

Funeral services and burial were held today at the graveside in Hope Cemetery, with Fr. Murphy conducting the ceremony. Arrangement was in charge of Garcia Funeral Home of St. Augustine.

Mr. Galambos was a native of Yugoslavia, but came to the United States in 1914. He was a resident of Flagler County since 1935. Before coming here he was engaged in coal mining in both West Virginia and Kentucky.

Only known survivor is a son, Matt Galambos, of Detroit, Mich. who was too ill to come to Florida at this time.

Pallbearers were W. H. Wells, Frank Mercer, A. B. Crooks, Clyde Lewis, L. M. Whitaker and A. C. Rodgers.
