Funeral services celebrating the life of Constance Louise Gale, 86, of Palm Coast, who passed away on Sunday, June 20, 2010 at Florida Hospital Flagler, will be held on Wednesday, June 23, 2010 at 2:00 pm at the Craig-Flagler Palms Funeral Home, 511 Old Kings Rd. S, Flagler Beach. Her family will receive friends on Wednesday from 1:00 pm until the 2:00 pm service time in the Chapel of the funeral home.

Constance was born on May 7, 1924 in New York City, NY to the late Max and Etta (Fuchs) Jaffe. She worked as a Certified Social Worker at the Long Island Jewish Hospital, Queens, NY. Constance was a member of the Temple Beth Shalom, the Hadassah, and Brandeis University Womens Group. She enjoyed golfing and traveling.

Constance moved here in 1972, coming from Port Washington, NY.

She is survived by her loving husband of 37 years, Aaron R. Gale of Palm Coast.

Additional survivors include her daughter, Amy Costigan and her husband Edward of New York City, NY; her son, Peter Israel and his wife Wendy of Colorado; her 3 step-sons, Stanley Gale and his wife Nancy of Golden, CO; Jeffrey Gale of New Berlin, NY; and Jonathan Gale and his wife Kim of Canton, MA; her brother, Teddy Jaffe of California; her 11 grandchildren; and her 3 great-grandchildren.

Memorial donations may be made in memory of Constance to the Jewish Federation, 470 Andalusia Ave, Ormond Beach, FL 32174; or to the choice of the donor.
