Mass of Christian Burial celebrating the life of Marion Genovese, 84, Black Bear Lane, Palm Coast, who died at home Saturday, June 17, 2006, will be 10:30 a.m. Thursday, June 22, at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church. Visitation will be from 3 to 7 p.m. Wednesday in the chapel of Clymer Funeral Home.
Mrs. Genovese was born in Brooklyn, N.Y., and moved to this area in 1978 from Brooklyn. She worked for ITT in Palm Coast from 1979 until 1985 and in New York she worked for the Family Liquor Store. She was a member of St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church and enjoyed bingo, poker, sewing and knitting.
Mrs. Genovese leaves behind her loving family: son, Bill and his wife, Maureen, Jacksonville; daughter, Carol King and her husband, Joe, Palm Coast; grandchildren, Debra Chaudoin, Joseph King, Kristine Henderson, Karen Genovese and Bill Genovese; and great-grandchildren, Justin and Jarret Chaudoin, Ryan and Madison King, Kaitlynn and Patrick Henderson and Chloe Ann Genovese.
Memorial donations suggested to American Cancer Society, 1620 S. Clyde Morris Blvd., Daytona Beach, FL 32119.
The family of Mrs. Genovese entrusted the arrangements to Clymer Funeral Home & Cremations.
