PALM COAST - Salvatore J. Giardina, 39, of Perrotti Lane, a resident since 1985, died Saturday at home. 

Mr. Giardina was born in Manhattan, N.Y., and moved to this area from Staten Island, KY. He was a member of St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church, Palm Coast, and the Knights of Columbus in New York.

Survivors include his wife of 62 years, Marie; two daughters, Marilyn Schule, Palm Coast, and Barbara Mastrosimone, Port St. Lucie; two brothers, Anthony, Pennsylvania, and Alfred, Long Island; three sisters, Grace Vasile and Jennie Maffei, both of New Jersey and Mary Ghatting, West Virginia; four grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
