Thursday, August 27, 1953Graveside services were held last Thursday for Mrs. Frances Whitman Giddens, 75, who died the night before at Flagler Hospital in St. Augustine.
She was born and spent most of her life in Sumter County and is survived by three sons, Arch of Bunnell; Sterling of Bushnell, and Birleigh of Marineland; one daughter, Mrs. Grace Guthrie, Bossier City, La.; nine grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
Garcia Funeral Home of St. Augustine was in charge.
