Orlin Benjamin Green, 206 South Stone Street, Bunnell, died Saturday, July 3, in the Jacksonville Navy Hospital following a long illness. Mr. Green was retired from the U. S. Army after thirty years of service. Following his retirement he was employed for some time by the Civil Service. He was 62 years of age.
Mr. Green was born in Warren, N. Y., and resided in Bunnell since 1951. He was active in Masonic Circles being a 32nd Degree Mason and a member of Bunnell Masonic Lodge No. 200, and a Past Patron of the Bunnell Chapter No. 93 Order of Eastern Star. He was a member of the First Baptist Church of Bunnell.
He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Jennie Green of Bunnell and a brother, Cornelius Green of New York State.
Graveside funeral service was held at 3:30 Monday afternoon at Hope Cemetery with Rev. Thomas Pinner of First Baptist Church officiating. The Bunnell Masonic Lodge was in charge of the Masonic burial ceremony.
Funeral arrangements were under the direction of Craig Funeral Home of Bunnell.
