Carlos A. Grine, 61, of Hillside, died Thursday, April 19, 2012, at Jersey Shore University Medical Center, Neptune. He was born in Mira, Portugal and came to Long Branch in 1981. He moved to Palm Coast, FL before moving to Hillside. He was a member of the Portuguese American Cultural Center in Palm Coast and was a welder for Mac Products in Kearny.

Surviving are his wife, Miquelina dos Santos Grine; 3 children, Carlos P. Grine, Elsa Cristina Rego and Emanuel Santos Grine; 3 brothers and a sister and 7 grandchildren, Robert, Jacob, Adrianna, Brandon, Angelina, Dominic and Jordyn.

Relatives and friends are invited to visit from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. Monday, April 23 at the Fiore Funeral Home, 236 Monmouth Road, Oakhurst. Funeral Mass will be offered at 10 a.m. Tuesday, April 24 at Holy Trinity Roman Catholic Church, Long Branch. Entombment will be in Craig's Flagler Memorial Gardens, Flagler Beach, FL.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Grine family.
