Funeral Mass for Rudolf Vincent Haller, 96, Ocean Villas North, Flagler Beach, will be 2 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 10, 2005, at Santa Maria del Mar Catholic Church, 915 N. Central Ave., Flagler Beach, with Father John Tetlow officiating.
The family will receive friends from 4 p.m. until 6 p.m. today (Friday, Dec. 9) in the chapel of Craig-Flagler Palms Funeral Home, 511 Old Kings Road S., Flagler Beach, where a vigil service will be held at 5:30 p.m. Entombment at Flagler Palms Memorial Gardens will be private.
Mr. Haller, a resident of Flagler Beach since 1980 coming from Chattanooga, Tenn., passed away Tuesday, Dec. 6, 2005, in Palm Coast. He was born Nov. 6, 1909, in West Palm Beach, a son of Franz J. and Maria (Lemle) Haller.
Mr. Haller was a retired mechanical engineer for the Tennessee Valley Authority, a member of Santa Maria del Mar Catholic Church and enjoyed studying national and international economics and Florida history, and ballroom dancing.
Mr. Haller was predeceased by his wife, Martha, in 1995.
Survivors include his daughter, Anita Haller, Flagler Beach; son, Glen, Chamblee, Ga.; and two grandsons, Karl and Franz.
Memorial contributions are suggested to the American Cancer Society, 146 Orange Ave., Daytona Beach, FL 32114.
Arrangements are in the care of Craig-Flagler Palms Funeral Home.
