FLAGLER BEACH - Carroll William Hamilton, Jr., 70, of Audubon Lane, a retired insurance underwriter having worked for several companies including Carolina Casualty Insurance Co., Jacksonville, died Tuesday at home.

Mr. Hamilton, a Marine Corps veteran, was born in Johnstown, Pa. He moved to this area in 2001 from Orange Park. He enjoyed electronics and playing pool.

Survivors include his wife of 41 years, Alice; a son, William, Middleburg; a daughter, Lori Mount, Orange Park; a brother, Earl, Anaheim, Calif.; two sisters, Mary Jo Rodriguez, Sun City West, Ariz., and Donna Morse, Canfield, Ohio; and two grandchildren.

Memorial donations may be made to a charity one's choice.

Craig-Flagler Palms, Flagler Beach, is in charge.

HAMILTON Funeral services for Carroll William Hamilton, Jr., 70 of Flagler Beach, formerly of Orange Park, FL, will be held on Saturday at 3:00 P.M. in the chapel of Craig-Flagler Palms Funeral Home, 511 Old Kings Road S., Flagler Beach with Rev. Harry Gilman officiating. The family will receive friends on Saturday from 2:00 p.m. until the time of services. Burial will follow in Flagler Palms Memorial Gardens.

Mr. Hamilton passed away on Tuesday, Feb. 21, at his residence. He was born in Johnstown, PA, March 25, 1935 a son of the late Carroll W. and Coral Gill Hamilton.

He was a retired insurance underwriter for Carolina Causality Insurance Company in Jacksonville and was a Marine Corp. Veteran.

Surviving are his wife of 41 years, Alice, a daughter, Lori Mount of Orange Park, a son, William of Middleburg Fl., two sisters, Mary Jo Rodriguez of Sun City West Ariz., Donna Morse of Canfield, OH., one brother, Earl of Anaheim, CA and two grandchildren.
