Mrs. Harding passed away on August 19, 2015. She was born on December 22, 1924 in St. Johns Park, FL, which her parents George and Lottie Shamblen help settle in 1917.

She accepted Christ in 1951 in Lakeland, FL. She sang in the choir, was on many committee boards and taught Sunday School to all ages in every church she attended for over 60 years. She loved to quilt and gave many to friends, doing her yard work, and being ready if anyone needed help. She also was a volunteer fireman for several years with the St. Johns Park Fire Department.
She was preceded in death by her husband Daniel Harding with whom she shared over 52 years of marriage, her brothers, Raymond, Rudye and George Jr., her sisters, Aubrey McBride and Nina Myrtle Kersey Hagen.

She was a member of the Westside Baptist Church, which her husband Daniel, Judge Duane Deen and Pastor Herbert White founded and built in 1991-92. Before it was built, they started a church in St. John's Park Community Hall with 17 members and called it the St. John's Baptist Church (Independent) Westside. It was later turned over to the Southern Baptist Convention. The Church is now located at the corner of Canal Avenue and Aspen Street in the Daytona North Subdivision.
Her closest survivor is a niece, Wendee Hartman, of Bunnell FL who attended to her needs.

Per Mrs. Harding's request, in lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Westside Baptist Church Building Fund, 3559 Canal Ave., Bunnell, FL 32110.

Arrangements are in the care and trust of Craig-Flagler Palms Funeral Home.
