Edwin Martin Hart, 44, died at his home at 811 Kingston Avenue, Daytona Beach, at 7 o'clock last Sunday evening.

Before moving to Daytona Beach a few months ago he was a resident of Flagler Beach for 27 years. He was a veteran of world war one, and had been ill for a number of years.

Mr. Hart is survived by his wife, Mrs. Dorothy Hart; one son, Marine Sergeant Edwin Hart, Jr., now stationed in the Pacific; one daughter, Mrs. Gene Bergeron; his mother, Mrs. Ida Upson; five brothers, Raymond Hart and Lawrence, Louis, John and Reginald Upson, and two sisters, Mrs. James Rich and Mrs. Mary Emerson, all of Daytona Beach.

Funeral services were held at 3 o'clock Tuesday afternoon at the Haigh and Brook’s chapel in Daytona Beach with Rev. Paul Redfearn officiating.

He was buried at Hope Cemetery, near Flagler Beach, the same afternoon.
