Martin James Heffernan, 68, passed away on Tuesday, April 3, 2012 at Florida Hospital Memorial. Martin was born in Fall River, Massachusetts. He served his country in the US Navy and retired from AT&T in 2003. James and his wife enjoyed dining out.

James is survived by his wife of 45 years, Nancy Heffernan; sister, Julia (Arthur) Adamson of Aurora, CO; nieces, Karen Matthews and Gina Adamson of Sugar City, CO; nephew, Jim Adamson, Chattanooga, TN; aunt and cousins, Valerie Butler, Denis, Valli and Teresa of Fall River, MA.

Arrangements are under the care and trust of Craig-Flagler Palms Funeral Home, Memorial Gardens and Crematory.
