PALM COAST -- Nicholas J. Holbach, 85, of Beechwood Lane, a former electrical engineer, died Monday at Memorial Hospital-Flagler, Bunnell. 

Mr. Holbach moved here 23 years ago from Chicago, his birthplace. He was a member of the St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church and the National Association of Retired Federal Employees. 

Survivors include his wife, Alessandra; a brother, John, Clearwater; three grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.
