Malcolm L. Johnson, 73, Hammock Area, died Aug. 4 at this home in the Hammock.

Born in Hobenwald, Tenn., he moved to Flagler County in 1913. He was a real estate dealer and a member of Lodge No. 200 F&AM.

Survivors include his wife Helen, one son, Mickey L. Johnson, Knoxville, Tenn.; one step-daughter, Mrs. Dianne Wolfe, and one stepson, Newell F. Adams, U. S. Air Force;  one sister, Mrs. Lilo Townsend, Macon, Ga.; one brother, Philip Johnson, Bunnell; five grandchildren.

Graveside services were held at 10 a.m. Monday in Hope Cemetery with the Rev. Hollis Bass, Pastor of the Bunnell Baptist Church, officiating.

Pallbearers were John A. Clegg, George Wickline, Otis Hunter, O. K. Herr, J. O. Bullard, C. H Cowart, Sr., Hugh “Ace” Drummond, Shelton Barber, Jeff Seal, Murphy Carroll, C. B. Eisenbach.

Craig Funeral Home Bunnell, was in charge.
