In the early morning hours of May 21, 2014, John Bagwell Johnston of Bunnell, FL, was given back to the land. He is preceded in death by his parents, AB Johnston and Ria Allen Johnston.

John is survived by his family; including the mother of his children and longtime friend, Gwen King Johnston, his two beloved daughters, Lyn Johnston Lafferty and her husband Ed and beautiful grand-daughter Rya Louise of Flagler Beach, Joy Johnston Hughes and her husband Danny of Gainesville, his older sister Nell Brown and her husband Jim, his brother Albert Johnston and his wife Anne, both of Bunnell, two men who he looked at as sons Andrew King and Bart Johnston, and the many nieces, nephews, cousins, all of his brothers and sisters in the Flagler County farming community, and many, many good friends.

A graveside service will be held for Mr. Johnston at 10am on Saturday, May 24, 2014 at the Espanola Cemetery, followed by an open house lunch at his home at 3342 Hwy 100 W in Bunnell.
