BUNNELL - T. A. Jones, 51, 401 Cherry St., former mayor of Bunnell, died Sunday at Bunnell General Hospital after a long illness.

Mr. Jones was a native of Georgia and moved here 25 years ago from Douglas, Ga. He was a Navy veteran of WW II and a member of the Bunnell First Baptist Church.

He served on the Bunnell City Commission from 1974 to 1976 and served as Mayor in 1975. He was a member of VFW Post 5213.

Survivors include his widow, Lucille; a daughter, Patricia, Bunnell; three sons - Allan, Marion, Ohio; John, Tallahassee; Larry, Flagler Beach; six sisters and three brothers.
