Susan Mary Keating
FEBRUARY 12, 1968 – JANUARY 3, 2018

Susan Mary Keating, 49, of Flagler Beach, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, January 3, 2018 at Florida Hospital Flagler. Susan was born in 1968 in Oak Park, Ill.

She lived in Bloomingdale IL and graduated from Lake Park High School. Susan survived a brain tumor at the age of seven that left her physically and mentally challenged. She moved to Flagler Beach, Florida with her mother, Rose Francisco, in 1998.

Susan will be remembered for her courage and tenacity, her ability to find joy and humor in spite of her everyday challenges, and unwavering faith in God. She was truly an inspiration to all who knew her.

She is survived by her mother, Roselyn Francisco; father, Daniel Keating; sister, Mary Kay Keating (Brian) Kavanagh; brothers, Michael (Shelly) Keating; Tom (Frances) Keating; and five nieces and nephews.

A special thanks to her loving caregivers since 2008 Lana and Geno Javoronkov.

Memorial Mass will be held on Saturday, January 13, 2018 at 11:00am at Santa Maria del Mar Catholic Church, 915 North Central Ave., Flagler Beach, FL. Inurnment will follow at Flagler Palms Memorial Gardens, 511 Old Kings RD South, Flagler Beach, FL.

Arrangements are under the care of Craig-Flagler Palms Funeral Home, Memorial Gardens and Crematory.
