THE FLAGLER TRIBUNE
Bunnell, Florida
Thursday, April 26, 1928

One of Flagler county's oldest residents passed away Wednesday when Mrs. Anna Kilper, aged 81, died at her home about three miles west of Bunnell in the Black Point community. Mrs. Kilper had been ill for several months and her death was attributed to old age and general debility.

Mrs. Kilper was born in Germany in 1847 and came to the United States in 1870. She was a resident of this county for about 11 years, coming here from Rose Hill, Iowa. Her husband has been dead for many years, his death occurring in Pennsylvania.

The deceased was a member of the German Protestant church and the funeral, which was conducted at the grave, was in charge of Rev. John E. Hartsfield, local Methodist pastor. Interment was made at Hope Cemetery today.

Mrs. Kilper is survived by two sons, Chris Kilper and William Kilper, both of whom reside in the Black Point community.
