Funeral services were held Tuesday afternoon at 2 o’clock from the First Baptist Church for T. L. King who died Saturday afternoon from a heart attack.

Services were conducted by Rev. J. T. Prevatt, pastor of the Port Orange Church of Christ. He was assisted by Rev. John M. Dickson. Burial was in Hope Cemetery with Garcia Funeral Homes, St. Augustine, in charge of arrangements.

Mr. King, who was 49 years of age, had suffered several mild attacks recently. Saturday he had another attack and was carried in an ambulance to Flagler Hospital in St. Augustine. He died shortly after reaching the hospital.

He, together with his brothers, owned the King Bros. Lumber Company, with two plants here and one near St. Augustine.

He was a native of Perry, Florida but had resided here for approximately 30 years.

He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Carrie King and two sons, Larry and Herschel of Bunnell; three brothers, C. B. and Charles of Bunnell, and C. E. of Tampa; one sister, Mrs. Ethel Howell of Orlando. Also surviving are three grandchildren.

Active pallbearers were Charles R. Creal, John C. Rice, W. H. Atkinson, Johnny Mercer, William Wadsworth and T. K. McKnight.

Honorary pallbearers included H. T. Cook, L. E. Wadsworth, W. H. Wells, E. S. Morris, W. W. West, Charles Hyde, Bill Towles, Bernice Jones, K. W. Lord and E. A. Hunter
