WILBUR-BY-THE-SEA -- Martin G. Langen, 86, of South Peninsula Drive, owner of a grocery store in Merrick, N.Y., before retiring, died Friday at Halifax Convalescent Center, Daytona Beach. 

Mr. Langen was born in Brooklyn, N.Y., and moved to Palm Coast in 1980 from Merrick, before relocating to Wilbur-by-the-Sea. In Palm Coast, he was a member of St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church and coached for the Special Olympics. He enjoyed golf and bicycling. 

Survivors include a son, Martin, Mastic, N.Y.; a daughter, Mildred Harrington, Wilbur-by-the- Sea; two brothers, Charles, Poinciana, and Robert, Stuart; a sister, Angela Weisheyer, Poinciana; five grandchildren; and four great- grandchildren.
