Thomas Lee, 63, died at his home on Lambert Ave., Flagler Beach, Sunday afternoon after an illness of six months.
Born in London, Eng., he moved to Canada in 1913. After serving with the Canadian Armed Forces in World War I, he and Mrs. Lee were married in Winnipeg, Canada in1919. They moved to Milwaukee, Wise. in 1923, and to Florida in 1948. He was a terrazzo floor builder by trade. He had been employed at the local cement plant for the past three years.
Mr. Lee was a member of the First Baptist Church of Flagler Beach, serving as treasurer several years.
He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Agnes Lee of Flagler Beach; one daughter, Mrs. Winkleman of Waukesha, Wis.; two sons, Rev. James Lee, Nashville, Tenn., and Robert G. Lee of Waukesha; his mother, Mrs. Ellen Lee, Moose Jaw, Sank, Canada; one sister, Mrs. Louis Harvey, British Columbia, Canada; and a brother, William Lee of Rouleau, Canada. Also surviving are six grandchildren.
Funeral services were held in the First Baptist Church of Flagler Beach Monday afternoon at 5 o'clock, with Rev. Alton Stephens, pastor of the church, in charge. He was assisted by Rev. James Lee. Burial followed at Hope Cemetery. Craig Funeral Home of St. Augustine was in charge of arrangements.
Active pallbearers were Morgan Kincaid, Stanley Springer, Ray Lehr, Robert Schatz, Gerald Combs, and James Erisman. Honorary pallbearers were George Wilcox, George Wickline, Russell Yelvington, V. W. Haines and Arthur Babbitt.
