Obituary of Teresa 'Terri' Lockie

Teresa “Terri” Lockie 92, of Palm Coast, passed away unexpectedly on December 21, 2018 at her home. She was born on January 20, 1926 in Wishaw, Scotland to the late Joseph and Isabella Knox (Martin).

Terri served On His Majesty’s Service during World War II as a Private.

Terri immigrated to the United States in 1954 and settled in Kearny, New Jersey. It is there she met and married her husband William Lockie in 1958. She worked in the Payroll Division as a Key Punch Operator in the American Can Company.

In 1980, she retired and she and her husband permanently moved to Palm Coast in 1991. Terri was an avid golfer and runner. She was very active at the Santa Maria del Mar Catholic church and volunteered in several different ministries especially with the St. Vincent de Paul Society. She will always be remembered as a kind, pious, and loving woman.

Terri was preceded in death by her husband, William Lockie in 1994.

Survivors include her son, William Lockie; daughter-in-law, Frances O’Hare Lockie; grandchildren, KadyAnn and Aidan Lockie; brother, Richard Knox and many loving nieces and nephews, relatives and friends.

A visitation for family and friends will be on Sunday, January 6, from 2:00PM - 4:00PM and 6:00 – 8:00M at the chapel of Craig-Flagler Palms Funeral Home, 511 Old Kings Road South, Flagler Beach.
A funeral mass will be celebrated on Monday, January 7, 11:00AM at Santa Maria del Mar Catholic Church. Entombment to follow at Flagler Palms Memorial Gardens.

Donation in her memory may be made to St. Vincent de Paul Society.
