Joseph Leo Lodi
Funeral services celebrating the life of Joseph Leo Lodi, 60, of Palm Coast, who passed away on Tuesday, March 3, 2009 at his residence, will be held on Saturday, March 7, 2009, 3:00 p.m. at the Craig-Flagler Palms Funeral Home, 511 Old Kings Rd. S., Flagler Beach. His family will receive friends from 2:00 p.m. until the service time at the funeral home. A committal service will be held on Tuesday, March 10, 2:30 p.m. at Flagler Palms Memorial Gardens.
Joseph was born on August 14, 1948 in Philadelphia, PA to the late Letterio Louis and Amelia (Crisafi) Lodi. He served in the United States Army and was a Vietnam Veteran. Joseph worked as a Postal Carrier for the U.S. Postal Service in Ft. Lauderdale, retiring after 35 years.
He was an usher at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church, and was a member of the Knights Of Columbus Msgr. Leon Gildea Council 7845. Joseph enjoyed going to the gym, dancing, classic cars, Elvis, and gadgets. He moved to Palm Coast in 2003, coming from Wilton Manors, FL.
Joseph is survived by his two daughters, Diana Lodi of Palm Coast and Lisa McCulley and her husband, Jay of Ft. Blackmore, VA; his sister, Santa DiSalvo of Philadelphia, PA; and his three grandchildren, Bobbie Sue McCulley, Jay McCulley Jr., and Tara McCulley.
Joseph was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Rita Lodi.
Arrangements are in the care and trust of Craig-Flagler Palms Funeral Home.
