Lenora Machiz


Lenora Machiz 80, of Flagler Beach, FL. passed away suddenly on November 24, 2019 at her home. She was born on May 20, 1939 in Baltimore, Maryland to the late Morris and Rachel Shapiro (Lipschitz).

She worked and retired from The Social Security Administration as a Claims Examiner. After her retirement she was able to donate her time and talents to Hadassah and several other organizations.
Lenora enjoyed tennis, walking, playing mah-jongg and bingo. She especially loved any sport that involved Baltimore. Lenora was incredibly intelligent, kind and was loved by everyone she knew.
She was preceded in death by her son, Joe Machiz, brother, Herman and her beloved husband Edward Machiz in August.

Survivors include her son, Bruce Machiz; grandchildren, Anna, Katie, Sam and Josh; great-grandchildren, Tatiana, Ozzie, Adeline, Charlotte and many more loving relatives and wonderful friends.

A graveside service will be held on Monday, December 2, 2019, 11:00AM at Flagler Palms Memorial Gardens. Reception to follow in the funeral home.
