Matilda “Til” C. Maddox, 68, of Flagler Beach passed away on Wednesday, February 22, 2012 at Florida Hospital Memorial Medical Center. She was born on November 20, 1943 in Jamaica, NY to the late Charles and Virginia Fischett (Mantell).

She was a registered nurse who was on staff as the school nurse for West Babylon Junior High School for 15 years. Matilda was also proprietor of Video Heaven in West Babylon, NY.

In 1991 she and her husband moved to the Flagler Beach area from Babylon, NY. Matilda was a faithful member of the Santa Maria del Mar Catholic Church Adoration Group. She enjoyed collecting Disney Memorabilia. Her greatest love in life was being with her beloved family. She will be greatly missed by all those who knew and loved her.

Survivors include her loving husband of 48 years Dave; sons, David A Jr. and his wife Sherry of Babylon, NY; Patrick M. and his wife Jennifer of Jacksonville, FL. grandchildren, Kaitlyn, David A. III and Abigail Maddox. Services are private.
