Funeral Mass celebrating the life of Mary Ellen "Mum" Mahoney, 77, Palm Coast, who passed away February 21, 2007, at her home, will be 10:30 a.m. Monday, February 26, at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church, 4600 Belle Terre Parkway, Palm Coast, where friends may visit from 9:30 a.m. until service time in the memorial room of the church.
Mrs. Mahoney was born on January 7, 1930, in Munson, Pa., and moved to Palm Coast in 1996 from Niagara Falls, N.Y. She was a member of Ancient Order of Hibernians, Moore Business Forms Retirees Club, and St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church, where she participated in C.H.R.P. She had part ownership in JMJ Tobacco Outlet where she loved to chat with customers. Mrs. Mahoney enjoyed watching sports, being an active volunteer, but most of all she loved being with her grandchildren.
Preceding her in death was her husband, James Mahoney.
Survivors include her daughters, Patricia Mahoney, Palm Coast, Barbara and her husband, Thomas Drabczyk, Palm Coast, Maureen and her husband, Philip Vitello, Flagler Beach; sisters, Emma Nasca, Niagara Falls, N.Y., and Anna Brown, Port Smith, Ohio; brothers, James Urbanski, Emporium, Pa., and Robert Urbanski, Flemington, N.J.; grandchildren, Scott, Kathleen and Kelly Drabczyk, and James, Michael and Joey Vitello; and also her beloved puppy, Flutie.
