Frank P. Mannino

Mannino 91, of Palm Coast will be celebrated on Friday, September 17, 2010, 11:00AM at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church. Interment to follow at Flagler Palms Memorial Gardens. Friends may visit on Thursday from 2:00-4:00 PM and 7:00-9:00 PM at the chapel of Craig Flagler Palms Funeral Home 511 Old Kings Rd S. Flagler Beach.

Frank passed away on Saturday, September 12, 2010. He was born on May 23, 1919 in Manhattan to the late Antonio and Domenica Mannino (Ruffino).

Frank lived in Oakland, NJ. From 1949-1976 during which time he retired as an assistant superintendent in the department of public works in Oakland, he built homes and owned his own garage where he was a mechanic. He was also very active in recreational programs and political parties. Frank was a key part of bringing civil service into the area.

In 1993 he moved to the Palm Coast area from Vero Beach, FL. Locally he was a member of St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church. Frank enjoyed gardening and watching baseball games. He will be greatly missed by all those who knew and loved him.

He was preceded in death by his wife Phyllis Mannino in 2004, brothers Joseph and Vincent Mannino.

Survivors include his son, Frank J. and his wife, Nancy of Bunnell; daughters, Diane and her husband, Fred Van Alystyne Jr. of Wanaque, NJ; Patricia and her husband, Ronald Lauver Sr. of Warwick, NY; Cynthia and her husband, Michael D'Ascheberg of Palm Coast; brother, Gus Mannino of Longwood, FL; 12 grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren and 1 more on the way.
